A Token Black?! Yep, There's Proof
So South Park has a character named Token because he is the "token black" on the show. Now, quite often, people want to think there are no tokens. But, with Illinois Governor Blagojevich appointing a black lawyer to fill Obama's Senate seat, there is now proof of this guy being a token. Here's the quote.
There's no empathy for him because he's done a good thing.
What? Appointing a black guy is a "good thing?" How the heck is that? How can you not read that as racist?
Well, the chances of this guy actually becoming a Senator are pretty small. I just don't see him getting the job based on how he was appointed. But, it is pretty scary that simply based on his skin color, this guy is considered a "good candidate." Though it doesn't matter who is chosen, the mere fact that his skin color is so important shows why he SHOULDN'T be picked.
Now, what party is this that focuses on race? Oh yeah, Democrats. Amazing, eh? I mean, slaveholders were Democrats, the ones with fire hoses were Democrats, and the Jim Crow laws were to protect Democrats. But, 1 + 1 = 3 in this world we live in where Democrats are the party of blacks.
Frankly, only a racist would think all black people should vote the same, but alas, that is what the Democrat Party is all about. What can you do?
