Quick Shots Propaganda: Let's Be Sexist! Yay!

Once again, Fox Propaganda gives me hope!

So, the ad goes, "You have taught him..." all these things like hitting a golf club, hitting a quarterback, hitting a pitch...blah, blah, blah. What does it lead to? "Have you taught him what NOT to hit?" What shouldn't he hit? Oh yeah, it is a domestic violence piece of crap.

Hmm...words hurt right? I mean, we've all been told that telling a girl she isn't good at math makes her not good at math so what does that mean here? Why is it a BOY who is a domestic abuser? Women can hit too. (I heard an anecdotal story last night, but it was private so I won't repeat it.) So where are the messages for women?

Being sexist is about treating the sexes differently! Assuming you need to teach boys not to abuse women ignores the fact that women can be just as violent. Let's go back to equality. Teach kids violence is not appropriate, be they boys or girls. THAT is what we should be teaching.
