HATE CRIME ALERT! Oh wait, it was blacks beating up a white guy. Never mind.

You have to love hypocrisy. I sure do. Remember when everybody was clamoring for hate crime legislation and classical liberals and conservatives were arguing against it? See, those two groups both wondered why we needed another crime and also predicted that black-on-white crime would never be classified a hate crime. Leftist extremists cried foul saying we needed to stop violent thoughts. Well, too bad for lefties, but it was the other side that had the accurate prediction.

A recent school yard beat down illustrates the idiocy of hate crime legislation. In the case, 6 black guys tried to kill a white guy. That would be a hate crime right? Nope, not even close. See, a few weeks back, a black kid sat under the "white" tree and afterward, three nooses were put up. Now those were racially insensitive. But wait for it! See, threatening violence is bad, but actually committing violence? Go right ahead; no racial element here.

Thoughts can never be known. And thoughts, technically, are protected under the First Amendment. Unfortunately it will take an extreme case like this to point out how idiotic the media and lefties are about hate crimes. 6 white guys attack a black guy? Hate Crime! 6 black guys attack a white guy? Just kids being kids.
