When Media Bias Overcomes Common Sense

So a story today on IMDB mentioned a conservative group criticizing NBC for airing footage of a sub looking at the Titanic when discussing a Russian sub planting a flag on the Arctic floor. Of course, because it is a conservative group, the story basically covers up for NBC. Now, I don't know about you, but the whole point of news is accuracy and truth. Running stock footage of a sub and passing it off as real is neither accurate nor true.

So why complain about the watchdogs? Isn't that kinda what a media watchdog is supposed to do? I mean, it isn't like it was that controversial of a story. Heck, it wasn't even the potential controversial part. I mean, they mentioned the Russians and the flag; they just used different footage. So why complain about the watchdogs? Why not demand NBC get its act together?

See, when media bias overcomes common sense, it just shows how idiotic the media actually is. They would rather complain about the conservative watchdog group than actually ask for honest reporting. Doesn't anybody in the media care about the media's image?

And they say there is no liberal bias...
