What an Inconvenient Writer!
So in this uh-humm...article, some idiot is discussing documentaries. Here is a small bit.
Until Gore came along with "An Inconvenient Truth," few Americans, it seems, were aware of the grave threat to our ecosystem posed by global warming. Likewise, until the release of "Fahrenheit 9/11," few Americans were aware that the Bush administration does not always tell the truth.
Yeah, I don't think so. Global warming, not a threat to our ecosystem; the sun, now that is a threat. (If you don't understand and believe the fear mongering Algore, realize that Mars is experiencing global warming. And when was the last time you heard of people on Mars driving SUVs?) President Bush lied because Michael Moore said so? Is this author trying to be credible?
You see, people don't pay to see crap like those two movies because they are just that, crap. I don't need to fall asleep while Algore drones on about something that isn't even real. How the heck would Al know that global warming exists? Think about it. My home in Michigan was covered in ice at one time. Don't you think I am darn glad the Earth warmed up some?
No, this guy is not a credible source. It is people like this author that reinforces the belief that the LA Times is pretty dang worthless. This guy is an idiot. And frankly, it is inconvenient that he is in a position to write for the places he does. That is the real tragedy in this country, people like him, writing crap, and passing it off as "enlightened." No thank you.
Remember, as Joe Friday on Dragnet used to say, "Just the facts, Ma'am." (Okay, so maybe he didn't say it in that way, but that was way before my time.)
