Fox News vs. New York Times: One Admits Mistake, One Doesn't, Guess Who
So Fox News ran a tape of Dem. John Conyers rather than William Jefferson when talking about Jefferson getting indicted. Ok, mistake and they immediately apologized and corrected themselves, on air, everything. Now compare that with the New York Times. They make a mistake in a front-page, top-of-the-fold story, and if they run a correction, where is it? Oh yeah, buried in the middle of the friggin' paper.
Now, some are calling racism because both Representatives are black, but you know what? Being from Michigan, maybe there wasn't that much of a mistake made. Perhaps Conyers should be checked next for corruption, eh? Not making any accusations, but think about it. Democrat, gotta be corruption right? Oh wait, I said Democrat. If it had been Republican instead, nobody would have said anything in the press right? Alas, too true.
