Consumer Advocates: Are you being served? Part B
So once again, Yahoo! has story, repeated on Fox News and Headline News, of a "consumer advocacy" group taking on Burger King over trans-fats. Trans-fats, you might know, were invented to eliminate an ever worse kind of fat, saturated. Well, the "experts" are suing Burger King to "protect" consumers. So, are you being served?
You know, we don't really need the Center for Science in the Public Interest, the so-called "consumer advocates." Any 5 year old knows that Burger King food is not actually all that healthy. So why do we need people to sue over food that is known to be unhealthy? Why, because they want money of course. This ain't about you or me or some "poor innocent child;" No, this is about money, for lawyers and the nutjobs at the Center.
So why do we allow these jackholes to tell US what to do? It is time that judges, when these idiots show up with a stupid case, hit them with huge friggin' fines. Yeah, judges can do that. And for the rest of us, we need to tell these idiots to "Shut up and get a real job. Leave us alone!"
And that, my friends, is worth a Whopper break at Burger King!
