American Airlines's Pilots are Nuts

So pilots for American Airlines are asking for a pay raise for their next contract, a nice, little, 30.5% increase. Now, maybe it is just me, but could that be a wee bit too much? Maybe?

Well, here is hoping the pilots go on strike since that is outrageous. Now for those who say management salaries increased while pilots' didn't, they are kind of missing something. An executive who can keep AA actually in the air as a company deserves much more than some guy who keeps one plane in the air. Then again, I would like to see American Airlines fold. We don't need a bunch of airlines that can't compete and need government bailouts. That doesn't help any of us. Remember, it comes down to the real golden rule. "If customers want a company to succeed, it will succeed. And if customers don't care for a company's products or services, that company will fold." Or should if government didn't get involved against constituents' wishes.
