Tax for the War

You know, if Democrats really didn't want war, they should help step in and repeal a tax for paying for the war. No, I am not talking about the Iraq War; instead, I am talking about the Spanish-American War, fought for about four months, over one hundred years ago. Did you know that most college students (as well as their parents) are paying for this war? At least, that is what the tax was started for, as an excise tax to help fund Teddy Roosevelt's ride up that there hill in Cuba. Me, I want it gotten rid of and I can say that because the 3% tax is on wireless and landline phone bills. Bet you didn't know this info, did ya?
