Commercial Question for Golfers

Ok, I am confused by this. So there is a commercial about buying Golf Digest magazine with a free video entitled "Cure Your Slice Now." Ok, so they say, it will cure your slice or cancel the magazine but keep the video as a free gift. Um...if the video didn't work, why the hell would I want to keep it as a free gift? Now, thinking like the golfer I am, I know, even if it cures my slice, my slice may come back later, in which case I may want it again. However, that is only after it worked the first time, meaning I wouldn't cancel the magazine subscription. Oh well, it appears like a really old ad anyway because Lefty looks really young at the beginning of it. (And this last statement will definitely show the true golf fanatics.)
